Funny T-Shirts vs. Cranky People

I get bored a lot, so I like to do sociological experiments just to see how people react. Some folks call these “pranks”, but I am an intellectual…so these are experiments. Also, you can’t apply for grant money when you call them “pranks”, and I like to keep my options open. For this particular prank…er, I mean experiment…I had decided to target two people who I had never seen laugh in my entire life. The goal was fairly good-natured: I was going to use funny t-shirts to bring some joy to the joyless.

Finding Humor in Everything

I know we live in a permissive society. I know this not from the lewd magazines, but from the level to which our humor particularly in comedy lounges and on TV has sunk. Take this comedian who until a few years ago was really working hard at his jokes. He made a specialty of telling jokes about first time immigrants, and those who just could not leave their culture behind, but had to foist it on other citizens and residents of the US. Originally from Canada, he now resides in California.

I can’t even begin to figure out where or how they find shirts like these. They all seem to be emblazoned with color and designs that don’t seem to make sense. If not that, then they have obscure references to music I’ve never heard or obscene comments about the readers mother.

Top 5 methods to NOT be Hung-over

1. Pedialyte, or other dehydration treatment – Fellas, I understand this may sound ridiculous; e.g. consuming a drink developed for children with diarrhea; however trust me, it really works. I discovered this a couple of months back. A friend of mine plus a fellow competitive fighter asked me to buy him Pedialyte. I chuckled and he said, “Actually get me 2 and even while you are at it, buy 2 for yourself.” Embarrassingly, later that afternoon, I got myself 4 randomly flavoured Pedialytes. My close friend recognized that evening would definitely be a head banging party and he didn’t wish to be hung-over. Therefore per his prescription all of us consumed one right before the initial beer and also the other (I put on my personal night stand) and drank just before sleeping. After 2 Pedialytes, 20 beers after, and 6 hours of rest, I woke up feeling as if I’d by no means partied at all… now, Pedialytes really are a must in my shopping cart – I have a pantry completely full.
