2 drawer filing cabinet

I have a 2 drawer filing cabinet. I have owned it for about 15 years and, quite frankly, I have certainly never thought a lot regarding it. A nationwide provider had an office right beside mine, and they moved to a new, larger room and purchased new fancy maple desks, chairs and filing cabinets, and offered all the old stuff. I paid the grand sum of five bucks (no provided tax,) and happily put my “new” 2 drawer filing cabinet in the back of my station wagon and off we went.

Letting go and simply letting your employees do their jobs is something you need to learn how to do as a leader. It can be understandably tempting to constantly look over people’s shoulders, ask them all the time how things are going with a project, ask them to e-mail you often to let you know the status of a project, and make a very detailed list of tasks, then have them update you once each step has been completed, rather than telling them to finish the work first. It’s understandable, because you want to make sure that things are done exactly as they should be properly and that they meet your expectations. However, it won’t be a positive thing for your employees, since it has the potential to make them feel that you don’t trust them with their work and that you’re being overly and unnecessarily involved.
